The highlight for this week was definitely the call center. Before I logged in on the phone I really asked the Holy Spirit to teach me to let the anointing flow and after praying I was really excited in a way that only comes when your faith and expectation of the Holy Spirit moving is high.
The calls I received were great and I could really feel the hunger of the people. One lady recommitted her heart to the Lord was baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues and then the fire hit her and she didn’t know whether to laugh and cry…it was so awesome to see God touch this lady and it was such an honor to be part of it. Another lady phoned for a touch of the fire and for healing from back, hip and neck pain. As I prayed that the fire of God would hit her from the top of her head to the sole of her feet she burst into tongues and I commanded healing over in the name of Jesus. After she settled down enough for me to get a word in I asked her what she was feeling and she said it was like electricity flowing through her. I asked her to do something she couldn’t do before and she said that she could bend over without pain so I just started praising God with her and loving every minute of it.
Great Awakening Tours stated that the third call that really stuck in my mind was a man who wanted prayer to stop loving his wife who he was separated from. I immediately when with the script and he recommitted his life to the Lord and then I told him that our God is a God of reconciliation and gave him some verses from the manual that he could speak out over his situation…I prayed for peace for him and for God to miraculously healthier marriage. I really felt like God touched him and that he hung up with peace and a new hope.
The final experience for the week was while was out soul winning and had a man begin to manifest as he approached us. I felt broken hearted for the man but at the same time I was ecstatic to know that devil in him could sense the Spirit of God in me before I even opened my mouth. -Andrew M.
This week at the Great Awakening, it has been just incredible! It was the week of the Winter Camp meeting. And persons from all over America and the world were here in Tampa, FL at the revival meetings. I had the privilege of working the registration table, hospitality, phones and outreach! The Lord is so good because this passion of soul winning has been igniting every person that steps foot into the River Church. The CTN broadcasts have been amazing! And the after broadcast services have been indescribable!
Rodney Howard Brown stated that the glory of God, the presence of God and the anointing that is felt in the church is real. As the 92 year old sister said last Sunday, “Now this is what I call church!” It really is! The anointing is truly tangible and transferable. Pastor has been preaching the past couple of nights on the Great Commission. It’s like I have been recharged yet again with a new boldness to expect signs to follow the preaching of the Word. It should just naturally come with it! I’ve seen persons who have been in church many years this week get touched and full of the fire of God and receive a passion for the lost and get on the streets to win souls and receive a life-changing transformation.
They have a testimony and their lives will never be the same again. I am that same person and before revival and receiving the fire of God and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I wasn’t winning souls either. But it is awesome to see so many people catching the same passion and vision to be going after the same thing Jesus did – souls! Hallelujah! -Karen C.
The second week of The Great Awakening, and it seems like it has been a month already because of how much God has already done! I had the privilege to give a testimony one of the night services this week about how God healed a woman that I prayed with during soul winning. Since I was going to be on TV, I told my family to watch the show. Rodney Howard Brown stated that well, the word got around fast through even my distant family, and tons of my unsaved family ended up watching it just to see me! The best part is, family was able to watch from many different states. I believe their lives have been greatly touched because they are a witness to what God is doing in my life. They also had many seeds sown just during the time they watched The Great Awakening show.
This has truly opened my eyes to the vast impact The Great Awakening is having on America. This is huge! Many people I know from all over the US have seen through my Facebook page about The Great Awakening. Some have even watched it, one woman tapes it every night and watches them when she gets home. Her life has been radically transformed just by watching on her TV at home. The fact that the power & presence of God is transforming people in their homes is amazing me. It shows you that there’s no box we can place God in. We can’t just think that our only way of getting people saved or transformed is if we get them in the four walls of our church. God is so much bigger than that! All in all, this past week has really changed my perspective on how big God really is!-Amie J.
What an awesome week celebrating the Lord and being a part of the Great Awakening. I am enjoying every service that I am able to watch. I can’t wait until Saturday as me and my family hit the streets of Tampa, Florida winning souls for Jesus Christ. Rodney Howard Brown stated that last Saturday was an amazing day. We were a part of the weekly soul winning team here at the River Church that takes place at 9:30 am. We saw salvations, rededications, and baptisms in the Holy Spirit. I spoke with an elderly lady that was full of love and was touched by the Spirit of God as tears streamed down her face when asking Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Savior. She said that I confirmed something in her heart and I know that this was a divine appointment set up from up above.
This is one of many things that I fortunate to be a part of. What an honor to be a soul winner and working for the kingdom of Heaven. I see life in the eyes of the lost, and freedom in the hearts of the condemned. I remember how that was me, and as miserable as I was, I knew of no way to be free. This is my life’s desire, to be one with Jesus and doing what He did. I love Him and praise Him for what He has done for me and the whole world. So as me and my family set out to go soul winning this Saturday, I know that great things are going to happen. All Glory to God! Hallelujah! –Sarah H.
ALERT!!! The Great Awakening has now hit the airwaves via revival.com., CTN., FIOS., and other television stations connected across America and the world. BOOM!!! This is what we have all been praying for, to see the salvation of people outside of the four walls of the church. A breakthrough and deliverance opportunity for families of America and the world. Glory to the Living Lord, we are hearing about people getting touched by the Holy Spirit in their own homes.

This first week of services has already changed my life. God has opened my eyes even wider to see His heart for people, His passion for the harvest, and His plan and purpose for my life. I have had the privilege of serving during some of the services in the call center, and it has already impacted me in such a profound way. People from all around the world are calling asking for prayer. The phones continue to ring off the hook one after the other and prayer warriors stand by ready to receive each call. Great Awakening Tours says that oOne night in particular that really touched me was Thursday night. I received a phone call from a man who had been believing God for the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues for over five years. As I prayed with him he finally received his prayer language for the first time! Then later that same night I received a phone call from a woman who was believing God for a healing in her body. Rodney Howard Brown says that as I began to pray with her & speak the Word of God over her, the pain left her body immediately! It was so amazing to see God touch & change people mightily, not only here at the service, but also over the phones with people from all around the world! –Sarah M.
The Lord has done amazing things in my life. I really thank God for RMI ministries, because of this ministry I am walking in relationship with the Lord now. I’m really blessed that the power of God is free to flow in this ministry and in the services. I learned at a young age what it was to be in the presence of God and that that was a normal thing to do. t I grew up learning how to press in for more of the Lord. Being in this ministry at a young age truly impacted my life because when I began to try and live a worldly life, the imprint that God had made in my heart through the ministry of Doc. Rodney and Adonica Howard- Brown; I couldn’t run from it. You see when you experience real life through Christ; you can’t live in the dead life style of the world and be at peace. Once you’ve eaten of the truth you can’t easily swallow the lies of this world. I’m blessed that the word of God and nothing but the word of God is being preached and walked out by the pastors of RMI. Great Awakening Tours says that every time I step into a River service its like stepping into the fire where if you willing and hungry; the Lord will burn the chaff out of your life. When the Lord has deeply changed your life as he has mine, you can’t help but share the love of God with others. I am thankful for my pastors being obedient to the call of God on their lives, and so blessed to be apart of the move of God that is happing through RMI ministries.- Sonsearae J.
I started an evangelist group with some great friends about 5 months ago. We started it because we wanted to save people and snatch them for the pit of hell. Unfortunately we haven’t saved anyone since we’ve started but we’ve done a lot of watering. Ever since we’ve started, the group and I’ve felt like we were missing something. But a couple of weeks I started watching the Great Awakening online and I was listening to all the testimonies from people and was blown away at how many people they were saving. I came to realize that the Gospel is the power of God and that we can’t change people’s hearts only God can.
Our group was under the influence that no one would listen and believe in what we were saying. It was like the devil put a veil over our eyes from seeing what the Gospel truly was. Rodney Howard Brown states that this testimony isn’t finished yet. This Sunday were going to be going out and this time we have the power of God with us! I’ve printed out the soul winning script and I’ve been talking to everyone in my group about revival.com and what you guys are doing! Get ready to see the Minnesota’s total for soul’s saved go up! Also if you could pray for our group, were going through some difficult times and could really use the prayers. Great Awakening Tour says that you could say that the devil really hates what we’re trying to doing. Anyways I’m looking forward to hearing what God is going to bring tonight! God bless!
Ella A. wish I could go to tampa 🙁 my soul needs the expirience!
“You are good, and do good; Teach me Your statutes.” Psalms 119:68 NKJV
There are only two forces in the world – good and evil. These are complete opposites. There are attitudes and actions that fit in the “good” category and opposite attitudes and actions that fit in the “evil” category. We are talking here about what it means to be good. God is good and everything He does is good. No one could ever accuse Him of not being good. God is constant and He is consistent – He is never unpredictable or schizophrenic. The qualities of “good” include justice and righteousness.
God is good to those who trust Him, follow Him and obey Him.
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25 NKJV
Those who sincerely seek God are the ones who will experience His goodness.
“Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. 9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. 10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.” Psalms 25:8-10 NKJV
God is good because He is upright and true. He leads us into righteousness and teaches us His way if we look to Him. Humble people are teachable and open to the guidance and instruction of the Lord. When we follow Him and walk in His way, then we will experience His mercy.
The Lord is good – He protects and provides for His own.
God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies; 3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet. 4 He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, And dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, And the flower of Lebanon wilts. 5 The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, And the earth heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it. 6 Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, And the rocks are thrown down by Him. 7 The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. 8 But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, And darkness will pursue His enemies.” Nahum 1:2-8 NKJV
The way God’s children and the devil’s children experience God and His power is completely different. God does not choose His enemies. You choose to be God’s friend or His enemy by submitting to Him or rebelling against Him. God is very protective over His faithful children. Those who are mean to them do it at their own peril – they make God their enemy. God reserves His wrath for His enemies! The Lord is slow to anger, but He is very powerful. You want to experience His power at work for you not against you! His enemies always come off second best – defeated and destroyed. However, God is a stronghold – a fortress and protection – for those who are His. He knows them and He will always come through for them.
“Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues. 21 Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city!” Psalms 31:19-21 NKJV
Those who fear God will be protected in and by God’s presence. God’s goodness and kindness protect us from the schemes, plots and nasty words of our enemies.
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! 9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. 10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Psalms 34:8-10 NKJV
Those who trust the Lord will experience God’s goodness and will not go without any good thing. They will never lack – even when their peers suffer lack. They will taste God’s goodness toward them.
“Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful
seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” Acts 14:17 NKJV
God shows His goodness by providing rain and abundant food, making us very happy!
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV
When we look to the Lord and choose to always follow Him, He provides everything we could possibly need – peace, restoration, forgiveness and righteousness, freedom from the bondage of fear, deliverance, boldness, comfort, food and drink, favor, and His ever-present presence. Goodness and mercy will follow me ALL the days of my life!
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. Matthew 11:29-30 AMP
Jesus offers rest for our souls, a yoke that is easy, and a burden that is light—if we will be prepared to take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. That means that we submit ourselves to His guidance, that we learn about Him and also come to know Him personally. We cannot experience the blessing of truly knowing Him unless we will humble ourselves to submit to Him, to His word and His Spirit.
For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things have come into being [by and for Me], says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands by Great Awakening Tours.
Isaiah 66:2 AMP
So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. James 1:21-22 AMP
If we want to be successful in life, we must have a deep respect for the authority of God’s word in our lives; we must be teachable; we must acknowledge that we don’t know everything and that we have something to learn. We must believe that God is speaking to us personally and receive it as such. Being teachable requires that we also receive and even welcome discipline and correction with a good attitude. This requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to change. When you come to a place in your life that you think you’ve arrived and you know everything—you have just proved that you know absolutely nothing. Be open to learn something new every day that you live! Know, and always remember this: God will pay attention to the man who pays attention to Him and honors Him—the man who trembles at His word and reveres His commands—and is a doer of them!
He leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches His way. Psalms 25:9 AMP
The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord brings instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Proverbs 15:33 AMP
Haughtiness comes before disaster, but humility before honor. Proverbs 18:12 AMP
The humility to receive instruction brings wisdom and wisdom brings honor. Haughtiness and an un-teachable attitude will lead to disaster.
I warn and counsel the elders among you (the pastors and spiritual guides of the church) as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a sharer in the glory (the honor and splendor) that is to be revealed (disclosed, unfolded): 2 Tend (nurture, guard, guide, and fold) the flock of God that is [your responsibility], not by coercion or constraint, but willingly; not dishonorably motivated by the advantages and profits [belonging to the office], but eagerly and cheerfully; 3 Not domineering [as arrogant, dictatorial, and overbearing persons] over those in your charge, but being examples (patterns and models of Christian living) to the flock (the congregation). 4 And [then] when the Chief Shepherd is revealed, you will win the conqueror’s crown of glory. 1 Peter 5:1-4 AMP
The Lord speaks to those who are called as teachers and leaders to have a humble attitude as they tend the flock that is their responsibility. They are not permitted to be domineering or manipulative or selfish, but must rather be a godly example to the congregation.
You who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)—[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)—[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. 6 Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you. 1 Peter 5:5-6 AMP
God requires that we all humble ourselves to respect and receive from those in authority over us. Many people have gone astray because they would not listen to the godly counsel of those who are older and wiser. It is foolishness for you to have a know-it-all, you-can’t-tell-me-anything attitude. You demonstrate wisdom in your own life, by your willingness to listen to and receive counsel.
Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom. James 3:13 AMP
Rodney Howard Browne brings good news to Minneapolis
